Within the Expressions from these years I can discern more subject matter from Urban sources than Nature.

Two things took place between 1977 and 1979 that impacted me and my photography and that let me come to an understanding of Expressions and the reasons for Creativity;

Formal studies in Photography and the birth of my first child.

I formulated a concept that I called “Presence”; This is the way I see an object or subject of a photograph holding itself in space. This is a very subjective and personal idea and I do not know if others see the same thing in my photographs. I later gave the name Expressions to photos that have Presence.
